Not only does Austin get to see the fruits of his labor – literally – every season, but he and his wife Mady also get to watch their children, Bo, Chet and El, grow their passion for agriculture, just like he did.

Austin is always looking to make the most of his operation. Whether that’s diversifying with livestock or crops or trialing new products to boost his yield. ​

Fertilizer isn’t “one size fits all” on Blair Family Farm. Austin utilizes several fertilizers — from the manure his steers provide to commercial fertilizers — so he can customize fertility field-to-field.

Leveling up yields for the sake of profitability and sustainability is what drove Austin to investigate biologicals in the first place. ​

Last year, he put BioPath® to the test and liked what he saw. This year, he’s hoping to explore it even further through the yield monitor and other success markers like tissue testing.
