    DODGING THE RAIN

    Caleb Wolters is busy dodging a few rain showers and getting ready to start planting soybeans, and corn won’t be far behind if the weather warms up. He’s also wrapping up his strip-tilling with PowerCoat®.  

     

    Caleb is the first Frontier Fields farmer to put PowerCoat to the test. PowerCoat, similar to BioPath®, is designed to improve nutrient utilization for greater plant growth and vigor through proven strains of PGPR — Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria, but they work in slightly different ways. While BioPath is a liquid product, PowerCoat is an oil-based formulation for impregnating dry fertilizer.
